Hernandez Signs with Columbus After Strong Season in Championship
The Columbus Crew have officially announced the signing of Colombian international forward Cucho Hernandez from English Championship side Watford. Hernandez, 25, joins the MLS side after an impressive season in the second tier of English football, where he scored 10 goals in 30 appearances.
Hernandez, who has been capped once by Colombia, began his career with hometown club Deportes Tolima before moving to Europe in 2017. He has since played for Huesca, Celta Vigo, Getafe, and Mallorca in Spain, as well as Aston Villa in England.
Hernandez is known for his pace, skill, and finishing ability. He is expected to be a key player for the Crew, who are looking to improve on their 13th-place finish in the Eastern Conference last season.
