Canada Defeats USA in Overtime Thriller

In a thrilling overtime battle, Canada defeated the United States 94-91 to win the bronze medal at the FIBA World Cup. RJ Barrett led the way for Canada with 23 points, while Dillon Brooks added 19 points and Luguentz Dort chipped in with 17 points. For the United States, Jayson Tatum led the way with 22 points, followed by Khris Middleton with 19 points and Jalen Brunson with 16 points.

The game was close throughout, with neither team able to build a significant lead. Canada held a 46-44 lead at halftime, but the United States came out strong in the third quarter and took a 70-63 lead heading into the fourth quarter. Canada fought back in the fourth quarter, and the game was tied at 84-84 at the end of regulation. In overtime, Canada outscored the United States 10-7 to secure the victory.

With the win, Canada won its first FIBA World Cup medal since 1984. The United States, meanwhile, settled for fourth place, its worst finish at the FIBA World Cup since 2006.
