Celtics Dominate Pacers in Blowout Victory

Boston Takes Game 1, 155-104

The Boston Celtics cruised to an easy victory over the Indiana Pacers in the opening game of the Eastern Conference Finals on Tuesday night at TD Garden. Jayson Tatum led the way for the Celtics with 32 points, while Jaylen Brown added 28 points. Domantas Sabonis led the Pacers with 22 points and 11 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Celtics' hot shooting.

The Celtics shot 57.1% from the field and made 17 three-pointers, while the Pacers shot just 41.8% from the field and made only 10 three-pointers. The Celtics also outrebounded the Pacers 51-33.

The Pacers never led in the game and trailed by as many as 30 points in the third quarter. The Celtics led by 20 points at the half and extended their lead to 30 points in the third quarter. The Pacers made a small run in the fourth quarter, but it was too little, too late.

Game 2 of the series will be played in Boston on Thursday night.
